Our Products

Living soil organic, small-batch, craft BC cannabis. Sustainably grown on our Salt Spring Island family farm.

Slow-Cured, hang-dried living soil organic BC flower: our house-bred strains in their purest form.

Same house-bred strains, same organic flower: milled and rolled, nothing else.

Cured resin, live resin and Solventless live rosin, all extracted from our organic cannabis harvest.

House-Bred Strains

Every strain we grow started with a selection we made ourselves. Gluerangutan was pheno-hunted from 150,000 plants over three outdoor seasons.

These aren't licensed genetics. They're ours.

Living Soil Organic

FVOPA Certified

With many ways to think about organic growing methods, GOOD BUDS has been certified by the Fraser Valley Organic Producers Association (FVOPA) for all indoor and outdoor cannabis cultivation at our licensed cannabis farm on Salt Spring Island, BC.

While many growers use synthetic growing media, living soil is all-natural and free of synthetic ingredients. It contains only natural nutrients and relies on the symbiotic relationship between microorganisms and the cannabis plant’s root system. Plants grown in living soil develop stronger root systems, supporting more robust terpene retention.

It's why our flower, pre-rolls and vapes taste the way they do.

Sustainably Grown, From the Soil up

GOOD BUDS is one of Canada's most sustainable cannabis producers because of how the farm is built, not because of an offset program.

Our sun-grown crop uses no grow lights and no climate control. Our plants are irrigated with rainwater collected on the farm.

We grow in living soil that we rebuild and reuse season after season with compost and cover crops rather than discarding it, and we use no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Even our indoor operations, which are much smaller in scale use high efficiency LEDs and recycled soil beds to reduce our waste and carbon footprint.

Every product we sell is FVOPA Certified Organic and grown, processed and packaged on our Salt Spring Island farm.

Family-Run Since 2017

GOOD BUDS Company Inc. is an independently owned, Health Canada licensed craft cannabis producer on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. Brothers Tyler and Alex Rumi founded it in 2017, trading the boardroom for the grow rooms, and it became Canada's first licensed outdoor cannabis cultivator. The farm is FVOPA Certified Organic for all indoor and sun-grown cultivation.

We grow our own house-bred strains, including Gluerangutan, Mango Cake and Timewarp, and everything we sell is grown, processed and packaged on the farm. Our organic flower, pre-rolls and vapes are available through licensed retailers in BC, Alberta and Ontario.
